"According to FoxNews National Security correspondent Jennifer Griffin, Private Bowe Bergdahl left behind a note with his unit mates, renouncing his American citizenship, and suggesting he wanted to join the Taliban.
[....] Another report from one of his former platoon mates said in the same note wherein he renounced his citizenship, Bergdahl also said he wanted to try and join up with the Taliban — and one shocking claim states he even helped the Taliban carry out terror attacks.
Britain’s DailyMail reported that a Taliban deputy district commander told the newspaper that Bergdahl taught him how to dismantle a mobile phone and turn it into a remote control for a roadside bomb.
Corroborating this claim, FoxNews’ James Rosen reported that a senior Pentagon official said Bergdahl had been thoroughly investigated by the U.S. intelligence community and is the subject of “a major classified file.”
