We call a deserter in combat, who becomes a traitor in violation of the UCMJ a POW, who then violates the CODE OF CONDUCT, and the President, for the first time in our history trades five enemy combatants of the worst kind, aiding and abetting the enemy, for his release. Obama’s foreign policy is showing a clear change in US foreign policy as previously written by Clare Lopez (Citizens Commission on Benghazi) of supporting radical Islamic elements and the Muslim Brotherhood while significantly jeopardizing US national security. By calling Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl a prisoner-of-war (POW), Obama is clearly indicating that we are at war with some entity. Of course Press Secretary Jay Carney tells us that we are in a new age of war, not against nation-states, but against terrorists organizations.
From the beginning of the Obama Presidency, the “War-on Terror” was changed and from his speech at Cairo in 2009 through today, has been filled with appeasement for all things Islam. If we are not in a “War on Terror,” how is Sgt. Bergdahl a POW? Semantics, of course, convenient semantics!
The list of traitors and treasonous acts continue to grow in our great Republic. Perhaps, even our own President and certain members of his administration are dancing on treasonous grounds. They are in violation of their oath and they are clearly joining forces with our enemies, many of whom are also our so-called “allies.”
The latest demonstration of this is how Qatar (the revenue source of the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaida exploits) was the instrumental deal maker to bring Bergdahl home and assisting Obama to fulfill one of his campaign promises by emptying Gitmo.
During the Obama administration, we have had three major Islamic terrorist attacks, Ft. Hood, the Boston Marathon Bombing and Benghazi. Now Obama has released five of the Taliban prisoners, transferred them to Qatar – to be held for a year, and soon, as we have seen previously, they will be back on the battlefield, especially since they are so highly ranked.
More warriors (at least six soldiers) were killed attempting to rescue Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl than the administration sent to save Ambassador Chris Stevens, Ty Woods, Glen Doherty, and Sean Smith.
Several months ago, Saudi Arabia announced they were disgusted with the Obama administration over Syria and Iran. Saudi Arabia, part of the Gulf States Coalition, declared along with Egypt, that Turkey and Qatar were no longer going to be part of a new coalition to fight the war on terror given how Qatar is aligned and allowed Hamas and AQAP a supportive foothold in the Middle East.
Sadly, the United States continues to recognize Qatar as an ally, knowing full well we are sleeping with the enemy.
For three years hence, the U.S. State Department and the White House, and Qatar principles have been negotiating with Haqqani and the Taliban in a misguided truce of sorts.
Fast forward to last Saturday when we learned that a covert operation was undertaken to free Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl after five years in so-called captivity.
The operation was undertaken without notifying the Senate as mandated by law, purportedly because Bergdahl’s health was suddenly in jeopardy; which meant five members of the Taliban at Gitmo, chosen by Qatar and Taliban officials were critical to the release. These five just happened to be the highest ranking Taliban in custody.
These Taliban had been caught in military direct action in Afghanistan, four of them together on one occasion, and were men instrumental in the killing of Americans but were spirited off from Gitmo at 2 PM, Saturday, 5/31/14 for Qatar. The al Thani family (who’s son just graduated from West Point), part of the leadership in Qatar, worked this deal and are now supposed to keep the released Gitmo detainees under house arrest for a year, but now we know they will be free to roam Qatar.
Barack Obama rewarded the Taliban and brought home a defector, a deserter, all while purporting yet another bogus story to justify the timing – kind of like that infamous video lie.
There is NO higher proof that Bergdahl was a deserter than when even the FBI was directed to investigate the case. In 2010, the military deemed Bergdahl a deserter, and the Obama administration has known for years that Bergdahl defected. However, for reasons that belie loyalty and honesty first to America, Barack Obama used this deserter to foster his own agenda.
The happiest man on Earth is now Mullah Omar. Not only has he won this round, he has set up a new cottage industry, future kidnapping for negotiating prisoner swaps.
One of the Taliban released, was forbidden from being released in 2011 by Judge Leon of FISA fame in the US District Court in DC. Khairrullah Kairkhwa had filed for a writ of habeus corpus but was denied and the denial was affirmed. The Department of Defense also an assessment of him here.
Robert Bergdahl has demonstrated that he is in full solidarity with the Taliban and continues to work to free all Taliban prisoners. The beard he sports is not just in solidarity with his son, a common gesture from bereaved family members when a family member is a captive somewhere, more importantly, it is a sign of his, his wife’s, and his son’s desires to support a radical Islamic enemy.
We can only assume, and cautiously so, that Robert Bergdahl has been given some sort of immunity for his work supporting the Taliban while showing no remorse for the release of five Taliban personnel from Gitmo because they are directly responsible for American deaths. In a subsequent interview, Robert Berdahl sent his son a message in Pashto vocally. In that message, he told his son not to worry because his team, their personal team, were coming to help him once he was released.
This is a team he described as loyal, people who were on a first name basis with Berdahl’s father, a team we believe is not exactly comprised of US government agents. The White House and State narrative tell us that Bergdahl could not communicate because he was in captivity so long, he only understood Pashto, his English understanding gone.
HH the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser with Hamad Victor Nazim who became the first Qatari candidate to obtain a military bachelor degree from the US Military Academy in West Point, New York. The academy’s 2014 graduation ceremony on Wednesday was attended by US President Barack Obama, congressmen, senior military, civilian, diplomatic figures, as well as families of the graduates.
Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl left his Afghanistan post on purpose, unarmed except for a few knives, a cell phone, and water seeking his Taliban friends. Soon, the military picked up radio traffic indicating there was contact between Bergdahl and the Taliban and the saga began. Bergdahl did not report for 9 am muster the next morning and the search began for weeks and included drones, exfiltration teams, search teams, and other roving land teams.
The IED’s went off, the ambushes began, and the false leads led to injuries and death of American soldiers all for a man who left of his own accord, now an alleged traitor and deserter.
Since then, Bergdahl wrote home more than once that he no longer wanted to be an American. He even wanted to renounce his citizenship. He was sick of a country full of lies, indicating that his parents knew he defected. Robert Bergdahl even boasted about working to release all the Gitmo detainees for the sake of the innocent that America had killed prosecuting the war against al Qaeda and the Taliban.
The timing of this swap is more than suspect given the fact that veterans and active military have come forward to expose the malfeasance and corruption within the Veterans Administration for which Barack Obama did nothing for six years. It was also that morning that Secretary Shinseki resigned, and it is also of note that Bergdahl’s parents just happened to be in Washington DC over this weekend; the very moment that their son was rescued.
This plot was exposed on national TV filmed from the Rose Garden and meetings at West Point with a Qatarian representative present? The White House knew Bergdahl was a deserter, the State Department knew he was a deserter, the military knew he was a deserter, and there is ample proof in many leaked cables from as far back as 2009, and the emails and radio transmissions from Bergdahl himself.

Not long ago, Barack Obama said that al Qaeda leadership had been destroyed, “on a path to destruction,” and that measures to defeat the Taliban are within the grasp of Afghani forces. But now, we know both are untrue, like much of his words on any subject.
Now that the five Taliban senior leadership that Barack Obama released are ostensibly free, today the war against radical Islam (terror) is more intense than it was on 9-12-01. The blood and treasure spent in Iraq, Afghanistan, and beyond, has been for naught with a zero return to the American people. Al Qaeda is continuing to expand and fulfill their mission and global caliphate, accompanied by many radical groups with other names, but all Jihadists dedicated to the same goals.
Obama’s betrayals to America mount, by the day and by the week. Each time seemingly worse than the one preceding it; all at the loss of American stability and the safety of its people. The puppet masters are dictating the moves on the chessboard and Obama is either complicit with them, or so inept and ideologically corrupt that he allows their success.
In case there is any question on why this swap transaction is dangerous beyond definition, one need only to review what happened when a previous Gitmo detainee Mullah Abdul Qayyum Zakir was freed. The Department of Defense had graded Guantanamo prisoners with regard to future threat assessments, and Zakir was ranked medium risk, but sadly, that proved to be wrong. What will be the epitaph for the damage these five will have wrought in days and years to come?
What has Obama done to America? Why this concerted effort to weaken America and strengthen those who wish to do us nothing less than harm? A traitor was traded for our enemies – another foreign policy failure, this time of epic proportion. Was it all just timed to offset yet another scandal? You be the judge, but observe the timing the trend, and the outcome.
