Analyst's note: Absolutely must read. As a reader concerned about our nation's security, you will appreciate hearing from those who have honorably served this nation regarding the man who now calls himself Obama. Semper Fidelis.
First a short item shared by a fellow U.S. Marine.

I am really concerned about North Korea 's appointment of the "dear leader",
Kim Jung Il's youngest son to be the new leader of North Korea-- a nuclear
power! After all, Kim Jung Un (pronounced Kim's young-un?) had NO military
experience whatsoever before daddy made him a four-star general in the military.
This is a snot-nose twerp who has never accomplished anything in his life that
would even come close to military leadership: he hasn't even so much as led a
cub scout troop, coached a sports team or commanded a military platoon.
Setting that aside, next they make him the "beloved leader" of the country.
Just Terrific!
Oh, shoot!
I just remembered that we did the same thing here in the USA. We
took a community organizer who has never worn a uniform and made him
Commander-in-Chief; a guy who has never led anything more than an ACORN
demonstration and made him the leader of this country.
I'm sorry I brought this up. Never mind..........................

America Does Not Apologize for its Greatness
nor Bow to Dictators
Barack Obama puts our troops in danger every time he apologizes for America’s greatness.
Instead of seeing America as a liberator of the oppressed and a paragon of freedom, Obama sees us as an imperialistic bully.
On April 3, 2009, while giving a speech to an audience gathered in Strasbourg, France, Obama had this to say:
"In America, there's a failure to appreciate Europe's leading role in the world. Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive."
Really Mr. Obama? I was unaware of this attitude on our part.
Tell me then, was it dismissive when America committed 4,355,000 troops to the cause of restoring peace and order across Europe following the outbreak of World War I?
Was it arrogance that gave 73,000 young Americans the courage to charge into a barrage of gunfire on the beaches of Normandy and millions more the resolve to liberate Europe from the oppression of the Third Reich?
Was it derisive when Ronald Reagan stood at the Brandenburg Gate and demanded that the Soviet Union tear down the Berlin Wall and allow for the peaceful reunification of Germany?
While Obama may believe such absurdities, the rest of America does not.

The unconscionable truth is that Obama’s desire to see America bowing before the rest of the world does not end there.
In February 2012, American troops at Bagram Airfield had probable cause to believe that detainees being held on the base were using Korans to pass secret messages between one another. Given the security concerns arising from this revelation, officials at Bagram made the decision to burn the Korans.
This act resulted in protests, riots, and acts of extreme violence directed at our troops by Afghan civilians and even members of the Afghan National Security Force.
While our troops were being slaughtered in the streets for simply trying to ensure the safety of those on the base, American and Afghan alike, Obama issued a letter of apology to the President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzi, in which he said the following:
“I wish to express my deep regret for the reported incident…I assure you that we will take the appropriate steps to avoid any recurrence, to include holding accountable those responsible.”
Instead of clarifying the situation and standing by our troops’ decision to prevent detainees on the base from plotting God knows what, Obama adopted a conciliatory tone and begged for forgiveness.
Instead of standing-up as Commander-in-Chief and declaring that any acts of violence against our troops would be met with swift reciprocity, Obama threw our troops under the bus, or rather, into the hands of violent mobs looking to rip them apart.

As if such actions were not enough to dishonor and demoralize our troops, in July of this year, the Obama administration offered yet another apology, this time to the Pakistani government.
The apology was for an air strike conducted by American forces on two Pakistani border posts, an air strike that was in direct response to an ambush on American forces by members of the Pakistani military, which left a United States Army Major dead.
In yet another display of utter disrespect and disdain for our military, Obama cow tailed and again refused to stand by our troops, ordering his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, to issue the following apology to Pakistan:
"We are sorry for the losses suffered by the Pakistani military…We are committed to working closely with Pakistan and Afghanistan to prevent this from ever happening again."

As if apologizing was not enough to humiliate America on the international stage, Obama has seen fit to degrade the presidency and demean our nation even further by bowing before dictators and other heads of state, like he did in 2009, when he bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, ranked as the 5th worst dictator in the world by Parade in 2010…
…and again later that year, when he bowed to Emperor Akihito of Japan…
…and again in 2010, when he bowed to President Hu of the People’s Republic of China, the Communist leader who ranked one spot bellow King Abdullah in Parade’s 2010 list of the world’s worst dictators…
…and finally this year, when he bowed to President Calderon of Mexico.

America deserves better than a Commander-in-Chief who apologizes for our greatest accomplishments, who refuses to stand by the troops who die every day protecting our freedoms, who bows to foreign despots, and who refuses to acknowledge America’s place as one of the most remarkable nations in the history of man.
Special Operations Speaks believes that our world is safest when America’s military is at its strongest. Our military can only be at its strongest when we have a Commander-in-Chief who believes in American exceptionalism and who sees this great nation as a beacon of freedom and liberty in an all too dark world.
Instead of apologizing to belligerent nations, our Commander-in-Chief should stand by the brave men and woman who put themselves in harms way every day defending the freedoms we enjoy.
If you believe as we do, if you share our vision of a world in which America leads from the front, instead of from behind, then please consider donating whatever you can afford to our cause. Whether you can afford to donate $25 or $2,500, all donations are greatly appreciated and will go towards ensuring that America remains the greatest nation in the world.
Sincerely,
Dick Brauer, Colonel, USAF (Ret.)

P.S. Earlier this year, the Obama administration put-forth a plan calling for $500 billion in defense spending cuts over the course of the next decade and a drastic reduction in both the number of active duty service members and the size of our naval fleet.
If America is to be an exceptional nation, we must be willing to invest in the men and woman who make it exceptional.
