Who’s to Blame for the NYPD Killings?

Family Security Matters by ANDREW C. MCCARTHY

A week ago, New York City police officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were murdered in an act of premeditated assassination by a man who was patently inspired by - indeed, was a documented participant in - a radical movement that has brazenly called for cops to be murdered.

To be sure, not every radical in the movement is down for the cop killing, no more than every Islamist thinks jihadist terror is the best route to imposing sharia. But cop killing is undeniably an aim of a not insignificant part of the movement's hard core, and a good many more members applaud it even if they would not carry it out themselves. Cop killing is thus a foreseeable, if not inexorable, consequence of tolerating the movement as a well-intentioned display of our commitment to free speech.

Thoughtful commentators, including several at National Review, have been quick to assert that responsibility for the murders lies solely with the triggerman. As a narrow proposition, and in a strictly legal sense, that is true.

I cannot agree with it, however, if it is a statement, more broadly, that no culpability should be laid at the feet of the movement and those involved in it: (a) organizers like Al Sharpton; (b) members, especially those who've committed violent acts short of murder against police, and those who've paraded through Manhattan shouting, "What do we want? Dead cops! When do we want them? Now!"; (c) government enablers like President Barack Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, Mayor Bill de Blasio, and other public officials who, even after its violent rhetoric ignited violent actions, have encouraged the movement and chosen not to take steps that could have contained it; and (d) media cheerleaders who have helped perpetuate the slander that fuels the movement, namely: the claim that racism caused the recent deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, who met their demise when police, in Ferguson, Mo., and New York City, respectively, used force because the two men resisted efforts to effect lawful arrests.

On most public issues, the debate is over-lawyered. This one is different. This one rages with hot-blooded slanders and cold-blooded killings. The law can help us maintain a sense of proportion. This writer, at least, finds it easier to come at this situation not as a journalist but as a lawyer who has prosecuted people for murder, lesser forms of homicide, murder conspiracies, aiding and abetting murder, violent racketeering, and incitement to commit acts of violence.

Unlike most of the public, including journalists, prosecutors inhabit a world where dealing with brutality is a commonplace. They must resist getting swept up in passion and making sweeping conclusions that, as my friend Charles C. W. Cooke puts it, "collectivize guilt." No matter how atrocious the act, cases rise or fall based on what can be proved. So, instinctively, my first question in these situations is not who is morally responsible but who is legally responsible - and for what? That is not to say moral responsibility is insignificant; in the greater scheme of things it is the most significant matter. But sorting out the legal helps me form a view on the moral since the law is a reflection of society's moral sense.

I emphasize the "for what?" question because it is the one most apt to get lost in the public debate. Pressing the question "for what?" ensures that we apportion, rather than collectivize, guilt.

Take the death of Eric Garner. The anti-cop movement screamed that he was murdered by a banned chokehold applied by a racist cop. Police sympathizers countered that the cops were blameless because the take-down tactic used was not the banned chokehold, even the "banned" chokehold is not illegal (i.e., using it violates police regulations not statutory law), and Garner was in any event resisting arrest, justifying the use of force.

While these competing positions dominated the public debate, they were both wrong. Garner was not murdered. There was no premeditation or malice in the actions of the police. Plus, there seems to be a real question of causation: Garner was not in good health and appears to have died of a heart attack; even if one can confidently say the stress of the arrest triggered the heart attack, the arrest was lawful.

On the other hand, as I contended in a column suggesting the grand jury's decision not to indict may have been wrong, the conclusion that Garner was not murdered does not foreclose the possibility that a less severe homicide offense - e.g., manslaughter or negligent homicide - occurred. Nor is the fact that Garner was lawfully arrested the end of the matter. By law, police use of force has to be reasonable. There are gradations of resisting arrest just like there are gradations of police use of force. We can all agree (I hope) that if a suspect resisting arrest is not assaulting or threatening officers - i.e., he is technically resisting, but merely by pleading not to be arrested and waving his arms in a way that makes cuffing him difficult - the officers would not be justified in shooting the suspect or clubbing him over the head with a nightstick. A cop's escalation of force has to be reasonable under the circumstances.

Bearing in mind that a grand jury has to find only probable cause of a crime, I thought there was a serious question about whether the manner in which NYPD officer Daniel Pantaleo took Garner down was reasonable. That doesn't make Pantaleo guilty; probable cause just means there is enough evidence to warrant having a trial.

Now, I happen to think Pantaleo would have been acquitted at trial. If there was a major question about causation, and if there is no doubt that some use of force was appropriate, it is highly unlikely that a jury would find proof beyond a reasonable doubt of, say, manslaughter. In light of that, and because we cannot be secure if police are afraid to use force when necessary, it might have been better for the prosecutor not to bring the case to the grand jury in the first place.

The criminal law is not the only judicial vehicle for apportioning responsibility, and it is a poor vehicle for gray-area cases. A reasonable prosecutor might have concluded that the Garner family could use the civil law: Sue Pantaleo and New York City for negligence under the lower burden of proof required in civil cases. Such lawsuits are often filed when police conduct is arguably unreasonable but not so egregious that the cop should be prosecuted and imprisoned. When a citysettles such a case, or the plaintiff otherwise prevails, that is justice. It is a way of saying, "Yes, a wrong has been committed and the police bear a measure of responsibility," without inflating the wrong into something it wasn't - such as murder.

Still, if the prosecutor does decide to bring the case to the grand jury, the grand jury's duty is to indict if there is probable cause of some crime. It is not for the grand jury to predict the outcome of the eventual trial or weigh the policy equities. That is why I think the failure to indict may have been a mistake. But if so, it was a mistake about negligence. To call what happened murder and to erect out of it a myth about collective police racism is recklessly defamatory - and would be even if the NYPD were not a fitting reflection of the diverse population it protects and serves.

I try to analyze the killing of the two police officers the same way. Only Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley is guilty of murder, but that is not the end of the culpability inquiry.

Incitement is not as serious an offense as the murder and mayhem it can result in, but it is still a serious wrong. As a matter of law, incitement to violence is so serious that we criminalize it - meaning the violence called for need not even happen for the inciter to be prosecuted. Consequently, when murder and mayhem do follow from incitement, of course we should regard the inciters as partially responsible.

What about free speech? The First Amendment does not guarantee "freedom of speech"; as Ed Whelan has sagely pointed out to me, it forbids Congress from "abridging the freedom of speech." The definite article makes a difference. The freedom of speech has always been a finite carapace, not an open-ended license. As the late Judge Robert Bork argued, bolstered by such precedents as the Supreme Court's 1942 Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire ruling, there have always been well-known exclusions from it, including speech that is slanderous, obscene, or profane; or speech intended to instigate lawlessness, particularly "fighting words" meant to provoke violence.

I prosecuted the Blind Sheikh for soliciting terror attacks against American military installations. When a mafia don in a café tells his button man, "Whack that guy," he has no First Amendment defense to a murder charge when the guy predictably gets whacked. Naturally, our law has developed principles for judging the intent of the speaker and the likelihood of violence: We ensure that the fan who vacantly yells, "Kill the umpire!" is not treated as if he really wants the umpire killed, and that someone who is merely teaching students about a violent doctrine is not treated as if he were advocating violence. But the bottom line is that speech calling for lawlessness is worthy of little, if any, protection. Speech calling for violent lawlessness can be legally actionable and should be deemed morally culpable.

The freedom of speech is principally about creating a wide berth for political discourse. And despite being the most deserving of protection, even political speech has always been limited by time, place, and manner restrictions.

The "Hands up, don't shoot!" slogan is a fraudulent rendition of the Michael Brown shooting, but it is clearly political speech presumably intended, however wrongheadedly, to advance policy arguments about institutional racism and police brutality. It may not be forbidden. The state does, however, have the power to forbid it from being yelled outside my bedroom window at 2 o'clock in the morning. And it has a duty to forbid it from morphing into calls for killing police and a license to shut down major thoroughfares - such that police, fire-fighters, and ambulances cannot respond to emergencies, people cannot get to their jobs and homes, and merchants cannot operate their businesses.

People who organize mobs knowing full well that eruptions of violence are foreseeable are culpable when violence erupts. You want to say they are not guilty of murder? Fine, but that should not absolve their contributory responsibility for the loss of life that predictably occurs. The same goes for others who incite the mob: those who call for the killing of cops. They are not equally as culpable as the murderer. That's why our law punishes murder more harshly than it does incitement. But those who incite are proportionately responsible - and when what they are inciting is atrocious, they should be regarded as atrocious, too.

Public officials also bear responsibility because they have special duties. They are keepers of the order that must be assured if liberty is to thrive. They are not like the average 21-year-old anthropology major bemoaning the police because "black lives matter" - notwithstanding that the cops protect millions of black lives while the nitwit student protects none. When public officials signal to the mob that its anger is so justified that its criminal behavior, even if not exactly condoned, will be rationalized, minimized, or ignored, they are facilitating criminality. So of course they should be deemed contributorily culpable when the criminality happens.

To say that the mayor, the attorney general, and the president are not guilty of last weekend's murders of two police officers is not to say they are blameless. To distinguish them from the murderer is not to pronounce them suitable for the weighty public trusts they hold. There is guilt here to be apportioned. Apportioning it is not collectivizing it - it is not engaging in the same convoluted demagoguery that blamed Sarah Palin's electioneering for a mass-murder in Tucson by a man with a history of mental illness, or that blamed bourgeois America for the killing of John F. Kennedy by a Communist.

A radical movement has openly called for the killing of cops. The officials responsible for keeping order abdicated their duties, and cops predictably started being assaulted and killed. We should not tar all the culpable actors with the same brush, but we should absolutely hold them accountable for what they have done.

#2 - Republican leaders don’t want to derail Obama’s amnesty

Analysts' commentary & insight: Our progressive (socialist/communist) problem has infested both parties.

The Knives Come Out for Senators Cruz and Lee

by Andrew C. McCarthy

Last weekend, Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee forced every senator to vote, on the public record, regarding the constitutionality of President Obama’s unilateral decree of effective amnesty for millions of illegal aliens. The resulting Republican establishment hissy fit further confirmed something I’ve been arguing here for some time: Republican leaders in Washington endorse President Obama’s amnesty policy.

Senators Ted Cruz R-TX and Mike Lee R-UT

Senators Ted Cruz R-TX and Mike Lee R-UT

Their stated opposition to the imperial manner of the policy’s imposition is poseur stuff. When push comes to shove, when the time comes to do something about presidential lawlessness, what do we get? Childish tantrums over being forced to work on a mid-December weekend — the poor dears having spent a whopping 135 days in session this year . . . and, by last Saturday, facing the crushing burden of another two or three days’ waltzing between the Hill and the nearest studio before their next three-week vacation.

We get party leaders who, despite having decried Obama’s lawlessness during the recent midterm-election campaign, actually whipped against a legislative rebuke of executive lawlessness. We get 20 mindboggling Republican votes in favor of the president’s usurpation of Congress’s legislative authority . . . even as GOP leaders look voters in the eye and promise to persuade the courts that the president has overstepped his constitutional bounds. (I don’t know how many of these guys have ever appeared before a federal judge. “Your Honor, I rise today to urge that this court condemn the president of the United States for taking actions I have voted to endorse and pay for with public funds.” Good luck with that.)

As long as we’re talking about epic insults to our intelligence, special recognition should go to the GOP establishment claim that, by forcing elected legislators to take an accountable vote, Cruz and Lee enabled Democrats to secure confirmation of objectionable Obama nominees.

The story goes like this: By orchestrating a “point of order” vote to question the constitutionality of Obama’s decree, Cruz and Lee broke what Fox News gently called an “informal agreement” that our esteemed senators could take the weekend off. Already you’re getting the picture, right? According to GOP leaders, Congress should not only refrain from taking action on an outrageous abuse of presidential power that drove millions of Americans to support Republicans in the midterm elections, but should do so based on an unenforceable wink-wink deal with that paragon of probity, Harry Reid.

But it gets better: The miffed senators huff that, because Cruz and Lee unexpectedly gave the majority leader weekend time to fill, Reid used it to move forward with a number of controversial Obama nominees to the federal bench and high executive-branch posts — nominees Republicans claim they had shrewdly planned to stall. You’re to believe these nominees got confirmed later in the week because Cruz and Lee, former Supreme Court clerks and highly accomplished lawyers, got outfoxed on parliamentary procedures.

Please.

First, a little history: It is because of senior Republicans that President Obama has had so many judicial slots to fill. During the Bush administration, when Democrats made unprecedented use of the filibuster to block conservative judicial nominees, there was a move to do away with the tactic.

Beltway Republicans, however, saved the day for Democrats with the infamous “Gang of 14” deal. It not only decisively undermined the nominations of several worthy Bush nominees; ultimately, Democrats were also able to keep some key slots open until they were back in control of the Senate and the White House. Naturally, Reid then did exactly what these GOP leaders had stopped Republicans from doing: He ended the filibuster so that Democrats could slam Obama’s controversial nominees through with a bare 51-vote majority.

And that’s not all. In 2011, Republican leadership also joined with Democrats to eliminate the confirmation process entirely for some 400 high-level agency positions. That is, Republicans gave Obama carte blanche to fill fully one-third of the federal bureaucracy’s top tier without any vetting at all by the Senate.

So now the same guys who have spent the last decade giving away the confirmation store — the same guys who, in recent weeks, have blithely allowed Obama nominees complicit in the Benghazi debacle to sail to confirmation by voice vote — want you to believe they suddenly had a strategy, this week, to run out the clock and thus stop Obama from installing more progressive ideologues. You know, because after going to the trouble of eliminating the filibuster precisely so he could get Obama nominees confirmed, of course Senator Reid was going to stand idly by while Republicans stalled nominees during his few remaining days in control.

You don’t have to rely on common sense to know Republican leaders are snowing you. Reid’s office made the obvious explicit: He always intended to confirm a slew of Obama nominees before allowing the Senate to adjourn.

On December 1, long before last weekend’s immigration debate, The Hill reported Reid’s admonition that he might keep the Senate in session through the week of December 15 in order to, among other things, get Obama nominees confirmed. Moreover, Reid’s communications director Adam Jentleson repeatedly tweeted that Reid had every intention of moving ahead with the nominations before the Senate adjourned. For example, there were these two tweets before last weekend’s amnesty tumult (here and here):

AndyTweet1

And,

AndYTweet2

Then, on Saturday, another Jentleson tweet:

AndyTweet3

Reid had a plan from the start. Once Republican leaders in the House were done colluding with President Obama and the Democrats to pass the “cromnibus” spending bill — the one that forfeits Congress’s power to block funding for Obamacare and other noxious Obama initiatives for the next year — Reid would team up with GOP Senate leaders equally anxious to get the cromnibus enacted. The majority leader, however, would keep in his back pocket the “tax-extenders” legislation — a grab-bag of Washington special-interest tax breaks — knowing Beltway Republicans, like Democrats, would want to make sure their sponsors were taken care of. By holding the tax extenders until the very end, Reid could rest assured that senators looking to flee the capital for the holidays would make no trouble while Democrats used the new no-filibuster procedure to blow through the stack of Obama nominees.

The fact of the matter is: The Cruz/Lee point of order on the unconstitutionality of Obama’s amnesty had nothing to do with getting Obama’s nominees confirmed. There was nothing Reid did in moving the nominations forward last weekend that he could not and would not have done to achieve the same objective starting Monday — nothing other than giving his GOP partners in the amnesty project a few strands to weave into a yarn blaming Cruz and Lee for confirming Obama’s nominees, a useful distraction of public attention from the Republican capitulation to Obama’s lawlessness.

If Republicans were serious about stopping the president’s nominees and his systematic non-enforcement of the immigration laws, there would be an easy way to show it. A month ago, Senator Cruz called on Senator McConnell to announce that the Senate will not confirm Obama’s nominees “unless and until the president ends this lawless amnesty.” The soon-to-be majority leader’s response? Crickets.

mitch-mcconnell-harry-reid

If, as they claimed, Beltway Republicans really wanted to stop Reid’s rubber-stamping of Obama nominees this week, McConnell could have dramatically one-upped Cruz’s proposal. He could have publicly warned that if the majority leader steamrolled the minority this way, Democrats should expect to get nothing for the next two years — no nominees and none of the accommodations the majority typically accords the minority in the many uncontroversial matters lawmakers deal with. You negotiate by exploiting your leverage, not by relying on the good graces of Harry Reid. Republicans, instead, accommodate Democrats, saving their hardball tactics for use against conservatives who try to force fights GOP leaders have no interest in waging.

If Republicans were serious, they’d use the power of the purse to stop Obama’s lawlessness, and they’d drop the preemptive-surrender declaration that there will be no government shutdowns. Again, that just forfeits their leverage. As we’ve seen, there are no government shutdowns. Even when Leviathan “runs out of money,” more than three-quarters of government operations (including so-called entitlement payments and national-security functions) roll merrily along. And even the temporary cessation of “non-essential” operations is overblown: furloughed “public servants” always end up getting back-pay for the time off — sort of like the vacations the Senate takes.

As the Examiner’s Byron York noted this week, Congress puts numerous riders in spending bills, forbidding the executive branch to expend public funds on all kinds of things — e.g., proscriptions against closing Guantanamo Bay and transferring terrorist detainees to the U.S. In essence, each of these riders dares the president to veto the bill and “shut down the government”; presidents routinely grumble, but they sign the bills — sensibly reasoning that a veto that causes a “shutdown” just to further an unpopular policy would be politically damaging.

Are Republicans really too incompetent to (a) attach a rider denying public funds for lawless, unpopular initiatives like the amnesty decree; (b) explain to the public that they are otherwise lavishly funding the government, and that these sorts of riders are so routine that presidents — including Obama — accept them all the time; and (c) persuade Americans that it would be ridiculous for the president to threaten a government shutdown over such a rider — especially since the government never really shuts down anyway?

I don’t think they’re too incompetent. I think they support amnesty for millions of illegal aliens.

On amnesty, senior Republicans agree with Obama’s ends and they are not much opposed to his means. They inveigh against the illegality of Obama’s amnesty decree but studiously avoid taking real action against it, which keeps the base at bay while the amnesty becomes a fait accompli.

Over the coming months, as Obama’s decree is implemented, the public will gradually become resigned to the unpopular policy. Beltway Republicans anticipate that this will create a more favorable climate for their coveted “comprehensive immigration reform” proposals. Along with their many supporters on Wall Street and in right-of-center media, GOP leaders will try to mollify the base with a storyline: Only by bravely enacting proper legislation can Republicans correct the worst excesses of Obama’s lawless order. Meanwhile, they will finally accomplish the mission: mass amnesty solidified in statutory law. About this, they will duly brag to Hispanic audiences . . . who will duly vote in droves for whomever the Democrats nominate in 2016.

Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are mounting opposition to the plan. That’s why the long knives are out.

Report: Small Percentage of 'Surge' Illegal Aliens Deported

Jessica Vaughan, the Numbers USA, Director of Policy Studies

An investigative report aired last week shows that only a small percentage of those who crossed the border during the 2012-2014 "surge" are being returned to their home countries, despite the Obama administration's claims that the cases are a priority.

According to immigration court records obtained by KPRC-NBC for their report, 92 percent of of the those who crossed the border illegally have absconded from their court proceedings after release and joined the resident illegal population, where they are no longer a priority for enforcement under the new, expanded "prosecutorial discretion" policies.

The report states:

Of the 15,614 families caught crossing the border, but not detained, 4,197 have been ordered removed from the U.S. However, 96 percent of those removal orders were done "in absentia."

The EOIR [Executive Office of Immigration Review] states an "in absentia" order is done when a person fails to show in immigration court.

Out of the 1,428 families caught crossing the border and detained, 21 have been ordered removed. Forty-three percent of these orders were done "in absentia."

Of the 13,425 unaccompanied children caught crossing the border between July and October, 1,671 have been ordered removed from the U.S. Ninety-two percent of these orders were done "in absentia."

From the report, the Center for Immigration Studies has determined:

  • The number of family units arriving illegally was larger than the number of UACs during this time period, although the administration, its allies, and the media typically described the surge as an influx of children.
  • At least 92 percent of the family arrivals in this sample of cases were released after apprehension rather than detained in the border area.
  • Nearly all of those released (5,575 out of 6,093 total families and UACs, or 91 percent) subsequently failed to appear at their immigration hearings and are now part of the illegal population.
  • According to these figures, 43 percent of those family members classified as "detained" (nine people) also failed to appear for their hearings, suggesting that they actually were released at some point.
  • Even under the current very generous interpretations of immigration law, only 3 percent of these illegal aliens were found qualified to stay in the United States (204 out of 6,093 completed cases).
  • Only 314 of the 6,093 cases completed (5 percent) were present for their hearing and could actually be removed by authorities after receiving the order from the judge.

Jessica Vaughan, the Center’s Director of Policy Studies, writes, “It's not clear to me what is smart or effective about a massive and costly catch-and-release scheme that has resulted in the illegal resettlement of tens of thousands of illegal aliens, with taxpayers now picking up the tab for schooling, health care, housing, public safety, and other expenses, and which has only increased the incentives for more people to try to enter illegally.”

The report is comprised of statistics from the immigration courts on 30,467 cases of families and unaccompanied alien children (UACs) who arrived illegally between July 18 and October 28, 2014.

President Obama Claims That Illegal Aliens Aren't 'A Drain on Taxpayers'

by Numbers USA

During an interview with NPR, President Obama claimed that illegal aliens do not burden taxpayers and are not a drain on public resources.

“If you’re concerned that somehow illegal immigrants are a drain on resources and forcing, you know, Americans to pay for services for these folks, well, every study shows that’s just not the case,” President Obama claimed. “Generally, these folks don’t use a lot of services, and my executive action specifically is crafted so that they’re not a drain on taxpayers; instead, they’re going to be paying taxes, and we can make sure that they are.”

This, however, is not the case. According to a comprehensive study by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) in 2012, households headed by illegal aliens were more likely to be on a welfare program than those headed by U.S.-born Americans or legal immigrants.

Illegal aliens also are more likely to be uninsured, therefore, more dependent on relying on emergency rooms for healthcare. According to the CIS study, “14.6 percent of all uninsured persons in the United States are estimated to be illegal aliens or the young children of illegal immigrants.” And in states like Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas, the impact was “much larger,” according to the report: “In Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas, roughly one-fourth of the uninsured are illegal immigrants and their children. In New Jersey, Washington, and North Carolina roughly one-fifth of the uninsured are illegal immigrants.”

Illegal aliens are also a burden on taxpayers by negatively impacting wages, especially those of low-income Americans. As Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) has repeatedly pointed out, “Harvard professor George Borjas determined that high levels of immigration from 1980 through 2000 resulted in a 7.4% wage reduction for workers without a high school diploma. Similarly, he found current immigration policy resulted in a net wage loss of $402 billion for workers competing directly with immigrant labor.”

Feds Can Keep Immigration Judge Identities Secret

Feds Can Keep Immigration Judge Identities Secret

A federal judge won’t force the government to release information identifying immigration judges under investigation.

The American Immigration Lawyers Association sued the Executive Office for Immigration Review and the U.S. Attorney General in 2013, demanding complaints against immigration judges, records on the resolution of the complaints, an index of final opinions and orders in the cases, and electronic publication of them, in Federal Court.

Immigration Review produced some 16,000 pages of records associated with 767 complaints, but redacted identifying information on the judges – including their names, genders and work locations, according to U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper.

The AILA filed a motion for summary judgment in an attempt to get information on the judges along with complaint resolutions as they pertain to specific judges and other information redacted from the records because the agency found it to be non-responsive.

#3 - Enemies foreign and domestic.  One such enemy is called Islam.

Analysts' commentary & insight: Enemies of our great nation are now operating "inside our gates" as various "secret combinations" who have gotten above us seeking power and gain.  Some are operating within our universities (which feed our government with people) and our government.  Using murder and mayhem, they seek to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries.  Real security -- temporal, physical, spiritual, mental, moral -- comes only by obedience to God.

The loving Heavenly Father of whom I speak is NOT called Allah. islam is a legal, political, economic, social, and military IDEOLOGY wrapped in a thin skin of religion. Calling Islam a religion is like calling Nazism a religion. They both have elements of religious behaviour, but they are definitely not religions. And unlike all other religions, it does not teach the Golden Rule. Nor does it mention once anything about loving their fellow man. “Love” is mentioned no more than six times in the koran, and each the word refers to love of jihad (in all its forms), love of Mohammed, love of islam….but never love of man.  Now we join Special Operations Speaks and ask "What is America's survival plan?" America is the ultimate target of this evil. We either fight now, or face the unthinkable later. And later is much sooner than we think. Read more at American Thinker

It has been said that this land (America) which is a choice land above all lands; wherefore he that doth possess it shall serve God or shall be swept off; for it is the everlasting decree of God... Behold this is a choice land, and whatsoever nation shall possess it shall be free from bondage, and from captivity, and from all other nations under heaven, if they will but serve the God of the land, who is Jesus Christ.

Name Thine Enemy – Behind the Islam ‘Eight-ball’

Stand Up America - Editor

Editor’s Note – The name is Islam. A reminder that America needs to learn and create a plan to survive.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War

Know your enemy – a simple concept, yet it is one so often disregarded because in our political system, “correctness” prevails. Perhaps the most troubling aspect of political correctness are its roots – ignorance and its unholy alliance with arrogance.

Coupled with smooth talking, glib, charismatic purveyors of propaganda, our political class has succumbed to “correctness” in all that is Islam. Since it has pervaded this class, so too has it

pervaded the masses in the west, and more specifically, America.

BawerSteynBooks

In the following article at American Thinker, Carol Brown asks what is America’s survival plan, for good reason; despite many years of the educational effort taken on by many patriotic American scholars on the subject, the masses in American still have no clue what Islam is, and why it is our enemy.

Not knowing our enemy means he has the upper hand and we are all paying the price, a deftly hidden price. As a system, Islam/Shariya, is diametrically opposed to our constitutional, federal republic and our capitalistic bedrock.

We had better learn that soon and plan accordingly.

Decades of infiltration, open acts of heinous violence, homegrown zealotry, insidious propaganda, and world strife, obvious as these are, have had less than the appropriate impact on this educational endeavor.

It is happening right under our noses as it already did while Europe slept, and similarly as America continues to sleep.

In his 2007 book, Bruce Bawer factually illustrated the world control ideology in “While Europe Slept: How Radical Islam is Destroying the West from Within” and in a related book written in 2008, “America: The End of the World As We Know It,” Mark Steyn showed how it is taking place here. But few in terms of percentages took notice.

So we at Stand Up America US were please to read a well crafted and documented article to remind us all – it is Islam – in all its facets and deeds that is our enemy.

“No one will be immune to the evil that is coming.”

Please read on:

What is America’s survival plan?

We’re facing the greatest national security threat we have ever known and there is no coherent plan to battle the enemy. This nation is so far behind the eight ball, the president and his minions won’t even name the enemy, no less fight it.

Name = Islam

Even worse, those in positions of power and influence misrepresent what the enemy stands for. Like a pre-recorded announcement that just won’t stop, we are endlessly subjected to the false refrain: Islam is a religion of peace. By Muslim lights, we live in the Dar al Harb, the territory of war, simply because we refuse to accept Islam. We didn’t declare war, Mohammed did.

StopIslamGeller

And when it comes to the threat of Islamic supremacism, it’s not only the left that’s putting us at risk. The right is hardly better, as both parties serve up a boatload of ignorance, complicity, and cowardice on a daily basis. Our elected officials draft legislation, set foreign policy, speak at podiums, sit on panels, write press releases, pen op-eds, and yack away on talk shows about the wonders of Islam.

If anyone challenges what they’re peddling, the peddlers get rather hot under the collar. As for the truth-tellers, they are mocked, marginalized, and vilified.

And what a truth it is, as we confront a totalitarian ideology bent on world domination ruled by one religion — an ideology that is infecting every aspect of our culture and which has the potential to destroy all of civilization.

Despite this grave threat, you can count on one hand how many leaders are informed and speaking the truth. And even they — and God bless every single one of them — have offered ideas in bits and pieces, with faint calls to investigate Huma Abedin, a proposal to designate the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, a proposal to strip citizenship from Americans who travel overseas to fight for terrorists, along with a few states that passed anti-Sharia laws.

Woefully inadequate as these actions are, three-quarters of them barely saw the light of day as the truth-tellers were pilloried and the legislation never came to pass. In any case, the solutions noted above are not an overarching strategy.

Not even close.

How can that be? The most brutal and ruthless enemy is advancing toward us and has infiltrated every arm of our government, and there is hardly a word said, no less a plan offered, as to how to beat them back. Quite the opposite. We are welcoming them with open arms. Giving them the keys to the kingdom.

If we are to survive, this madness must end. And toward that end, I suggest the following:

  • Name the enemy:  If you don’t name the enemy, how can you win the war? Let’s stop talking like idiots. We’re battling a totalitarian ideology as written in the Koran, and the people who follow it. It’s called Islam. Not “radical Islam.” Just Islam. By any standard, the teachings in the Koran are radical. When people say “radical Islam,” it suggests there is some other form of Islam that is more tempered.Moderate, as they say. But such a thing does not exist, except as neglect of scriptural imperatives. And should anyone claim there are peaceful verses please point them to Chapter 2, Verse 106 (Abrogation) which states that later (violent) verses override and/or replace earlier (peaceful) ones.
  • Stop saying “war on terror”:  This expression is vague and minimizes the scope of the battle. We’re fighting Islamic jihad in all its forms — from physical violence to creeping Sharia and everything in between. We are at war with those who follow the teachings of the Koran — whether they are violent jihadists or members of the school board trying to influence curriculum.
    The Muslim Brotherhood

    The Muslim Brotherhood

  • Shut down Iran’s nuclear program:  Iran is a mortal threat to Israel, the United States, and indeed the entire civilized world. We should not be involved in negotiations with a nation that has declared its murderous intentions against America and her allies. If Iran develops a nuclear weapon, the world as we know it will be forever altered as a blanket of death will descend. We must destroy Iran’s ability to develop a nuclear weapon before it is too late. And the clock is running down. Quickly.
  • Address the malevolent influence of the Muslim Brotherhood:  It is critical that we address how deeply the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated our government. We must designate the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, remove members of the Muslim Brotherhood from government positions, and shut down all Muslim Brotherhood front groups. We cannot survive if the enemy is not only attacking from without, but also from within (per their stated plan).Terrorists have no place on American soil, no less within our government. Identify them, arrest them where appropriate, and send the rest packing.
  • Stop construction of mosques and shut down most of those already built: Mosques are popping up all across America, with a 75% increase in new construction since 9/11. There are now well over 2,000 mosques in America (some of them “mega mosques”) with no end in sight. Two separate studies document that 80% of mosques in the United States preach jihad. That number is staggering. The situation is intolerable. It pushes the limit of freedom of religion and freedom of speech. A nation cannot endure direct threats against it if it hopes to survive.
This is a picture of the largest mosque in America in Dearborn, Michigan.

This is a picture of the largest mosque in America in Dearborn, Michigan.

  • Shut down Islamic schools and get Islam out of public school classrooms: We cannot allow Islamic schools to indoctrinate the next generation of Muslim Americans, where students are taught Islamic dominance, forced conversions, death to non-believers, and the destruction of Israel. This is not a reflection of American values and serves as a direct threat to our future. If Muslim Americans want their children to attend such schools, the family should relocate to an Islamic country. We must also remove Islamic propaganda from our public schools, private schools, college and universities. And while we’re on the subject, Muslim colleges are blossoming. The most prominent (Zaytuna College) opened five years ago in Berkeley, California. But there have been others, including the Islamic Online University. At the very least, these institutions must be monitored.
  • Shut down American jihadist training compounds:  We cannot tolerate Muslim enclaves in America where jihadist training is taught. Muslims of America have training compounds scattered throughout the country poised to inflict violence on a massive scale. This cannot stand. America is a nation that is free, not a nation that is stupid. “Anything goes” is not our founding principle. It is sheer insanity to tolerate people and organizations that train jihadists to attack Americans. Plus, last I checked, it’s against the law. We know where these compounds are. We must shut them down. Immediately.
  • Address prisons as breading grounds for Muslim converts:  Prisons have become breeding grounds for Islamic converts and jihadist indoctrination. We must block the outside influence from Saudi Arabia and terror states, ensure those in the prison power structure become educated about Islam, and involve subject matter experts to help vet and monitor Muslim chaplains. No one — imams or prisoners — must be allowed to engage in violent rhetoric or activity, Muslim prison gangs must be broken apart, and perks that Muslim prisoners alone get must be stripped away.
  • Stop immigration from Islamic countries:  As seen throughout Europe, it doesn’t take a lot of Muslims to wreak havoc on a nation. To help ensure we don’t wind up like Europe, we must halt all immigration from Islamic countries. The risks are simply too high. No nation has an obligation to allow immigration from any and all countries. And in the case of immigration from Islamic countries, it is impossible to fully vet Muslim immigrants for the following reasons:1 – We cannot know who has an agenda to impose Sharia law (and stats show most support it).
2 – We need to recognize that increasing numbers of Muslims who seem like regular folks are morphing into jihadists.
3  – We must understand the role that taqiyya (sanctioned deception) plays in any vetting process.Islam is not compatible with Western values. It is not compatible with Judeo/Christian values. It is not compatible with liberty and freedom. It’s illogical to import people from cultures where some, many, or most individuals hate America and want to destroy everything we stand for. (When considering this issue, one should also keep in mind the 3 stages of jihad.)
  • Stop moral equivalence:  All cultures are not the same. All ideas are not the same. All religions are not the same. Stop speaking as if they are. Islam is the 21st century Nazism. As Prime Minister Netanyahu said, “We’ve seen this before. There’s a master race; Now there’s a master faith.”
“We’ve seen this before. There’s a master race; Now there’s a master faith.”

“We’ve seen this before. There’s a master race; Now there’s a master faith.” – Benjamin Netanyahu, UN Speech 2014

Human beings have the ability to discern. Let’s start using this God-given gift. Western cultures are better than Islamic cultures. The idea of liberty is better than the idea of oppression. Values of love and life trump those of darkness, death, and destruction. Everything is not the same. Spread the word.

  • Ban the burqa and niqab:  A person’s face must be exposed for all the obvious reasons. In addition, swaths of fabric draped over and around one’s body mask the human form and can also hide weapons. We’ve already had criminals exploit burqas in order to commit crimes. This sort of identity-hiding garb has no place in a modern, Western society. If a Muslim insists on wearing a burqa I suggest she move to any one of the dozens of Muslim countries where such attire is welcome, if not required. It’s not how we do things in the United States and we shouldn’t start. Cultures are different. Values are different. The United States, thank God, is not an Islamic nation. And we shouldn’t slide any further down the path of embracing Islamic values (such as they are) and norms. Including Islamic dress codes.
  • Allow people who want to join terror groups overseas to leave the country and ensure it’s a one-way ticket:  When we become aware of persons planning to travel overseas to join ISIS or any other terror organization, we should not stop them. There is no reason to have such individuals among us. We should let them go, then slam the door behind them so they can never return: revoke their passport, visa, and U.S. citizenship. They must not be allowed to engage in this treasonous act without consequence (as is currently the case).
  • Secure the border:  The United States must secure its borders so that, among other things, we don’t leave ourselves open to terrorists coming across. It defies common sense and sound national security to have open borders. The border must be secured.
  • Achieve energy independence:  We must break our reliance on oil from Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries that are run by dictators who use their power and influence to undermine our nation. There is no reason this great nation cannot become energy independent if we set about to achieve that goal. We have the resources. Now we must find the will.
  • Stop supporting terror:  We must stop all funds that go to the Palestinian Authority. We must investigate Turkey and Qatar as state sponsors of terror and reassess our ties with these nations. We should suspend funding for the UN Human Rights Commission.muslim-anti-christian
  • Become citizen activists:  This battle must be fought on all fronts by everyone. Leftists might be permanent goners, but there are a lot of folks who are simply uninformed. Get involved and speak out. Be savvy about the best way to approach others. Don’t overwhelm. Choose your focus, your words, and your support materials carefully. Here are a few ideas:

Educate others about the Koran:  This is critical. Islam is a totalitarian ideology at its core and we must tell it like it is when we speak about it. Educate yourself. Then educate others. Robert Spencer has two excellent books that I highly recommend if you haven’t read them already:  The Complete Infidel’s Guide to the Koran and The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades)

Educate others about the 3 stages of jihad:  Islam has a methodical method to the bloody madness. Part of that method involves how to advance jihad in three stages to reach its most bellicose form. David Wood of Answering Muslims has an excellent video on the subject, here.

Support people and organizations that are on the front lines of this battle:  There are many brave patriots working tirelessly to wake people up to the threat of Islam. They are a great resource and they also need our support. For blogs that focus exclusively on Islam, see here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here among countless examples. See here and here for political action organizations focused exclusively on Islam. (Remember, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Joining Act for America, for example, can help provide focus.) For legal centers on the front lines of this battle, see here and here.

Reach out to others in your place of worship:  Churches and synagogues should be leading voices in this battle. Sadly, they’re not. “Interfaith dialogue” has become all the rage as many churches and synagogues enable the enemy. In addition, many churches have joined the BDS movement against Israel — a nation on the bleeding edge of the fight against jihad. We must shift this dangerous course. (When enlightening members at your place of worship, the Christian Action Network might be a resource for some that is particularly resonant.)

Know what’s going on in your community:  In addition to the construction of new mosques, there are myriad ways that creeping Sharia creeps. Stay on top of what’s going on in your community and take action. See here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here for a snapshot among an endless battery of examples that are reminders of how vigilant we must be.

mosques

Stay on top of what is going on in schools:  Whether you have children in school or not, it behooves all of us to know what’s going on in the school system. Lord knows, CAIR and other Muslim Brotherhood front groups are campaigning, lobbying, applying pressure, and in some cases, suing to make sure Islam marches through the halls of our public and private schools (as well as colleges and universities).

We will all pay a price for the next generation’s brainwashing if we don’t address it. See here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here among countless examples.

Let your elected officials know where you stand and what you expect from them:  Most of them are clueless. At best. They need to be educated. Who’s going to educate them? That would be us. We cannot, for example, ever again have an imam lead a prayer in Congress. Not. ever. again.

Contact the media:  Speak out about biased and erroneous coverage of Islam, Sharia, and terror. Urge them to stop inviting guests who are members of Muslim Brotherhood front groups. Educate them about this issue.

Be creative and take initiative:  Every day, whether on an international, national scale, or local level, the West is increasingly in the grip of Islamic law. Find ways to speak the truth and educate the public. Here’s an inspiring story: A group of concerned citizens formed an organization called the Counter Jihad Coalition.

They created brochures on Islam and, armed with knowledge and these materials, they stand in a public square (in this case, 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California) and educate others. To read more about them and hear an interview, see here.

And:  The Counter Jihad Report has compiled a comprehensive list of things citizens can do. Each item on the list links to a page with more detail on the particular area of interest. There are also excellent suggestions on the best ways to approach people. I highly recommend AT readers visit this page where you can explore and find one or two things to act on, here.

CounterJihadReport

In closing, I would like to say that the current state of affairs with respect to our nation’s retreat is unsustainable. We either fight with everything we have, or we will be undone. The terrifying command to “convert or die” will not be a savage reality forced upon people in other nations.

It will be bellowed through this land. And while many of us feel overwhelmed with our time and energy stretched thin, please consider that if we don’t take this on now, an inconceivable darkness will envelope our lives that will silence our voices — if not our beating hearts — on this, and every single thing.

No one will be immune to the evil that is coming. Democrats, Republicans and Independents; patriots and dhimmis; men, women, and children; the young, the old and everyone in between; rich and poor; Christians, Mormons, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, agnostics, and atheists; black, brown, and white; the educated and uneducated; public servants and private sector employees; doctors, teachers, roofers, truck drivers, lawyers, veterinarians, CEO’s, cooks, plumbers, dog walkers; as well as dogs.

America is the ultimate target of this evil. We either fight now, or face the unthinkable later. And later is much sooner than we think.

#4 - Big government and the rapidly developing domestic tyranny here in the United States

Analysts' commentary & insight:  The political landscape of America is about to drastically change. Dispite our best efforts many will one day awake to sense our awful situation.  It has been said that "Since Communism, established, would destroy American Constitutional government, to support Communism is treasonable to our free instituions, and no patriotic American citizen may become either a Communist or supporter of Communism. .... By the extent to which we tolerate it, accommodate ourselves to it, permit ourselves to be encircled by its tenacles and drawn to it, to that extent we forfeit the protection of the God of this land. ... Too many Americans have lost sight of the truth that God is our source of freedom - the Lawgiver - and that personal righteousness is the most important essential to perserving our freedom.... unless we return to the fundamental principles of Christianity and of constitutional government in the tradition of our Founding Fathers, we will lose our free institutions, and will stand in jeopardy before God.... once freedom is lost, only blood - human blood - will win it back .... we can turn things around in America if we have the determination, the morality, the patriotism, and the spirituality to do so."

"WASHINGTON – A creeping revolution is underway that’s stealthily altering the very core of America and the ideals for which its ancestors fought and died in freedom’s cause.

The phenomenon is leading the country toward embracing the very thing President Thomas Jefferson abhorred: ever-bigger government.

And it’s coming from a seemingly harmless policy many Americans embrace."

.... Democrats understand immigration is an electoral bonanza for liberalism.

While finding most Republicans reluctant to directly address the partisan implications of mass immigration, “Democrats have been quite open about how much immigration is improving their ability to win elections by importing massive numbers of liberal voters.”

Like many of you, I have been watching this now for daily for a number of years, and there is still much more coming our way.

BIG GOVERNMENT PREPARING TO ESTABLISH DOMESTIC TYRANNY

Although world war will be used to drive Americans into joining a new, powerful world order with the ability to tax and raise a standing army, the groundwork is also being laid at home for complete control of Americans. The exigencies of war will give our leaders the excuse they need to finally execute martial law, prison camps and the crushing of dissent.

This year we saw government further arrogate to itself broad new power through executive action that went unchecked thanks to a Congress coopted by globalist republican leaders and a neutered Supreme Court, which refuses to declare any of the president’s unilateral actions unconstitutional. Let’s review the deteriorating state of the Union:

Law by Decree: In order to avoid the coming legal challenge to an improper Executive Order, Obama’s advisors concocted a plan for Obama to grant defacto amnesty to at least 5 million illegals by simple policy memorandum. Obama claims this is merely within his jurisdiction to determine how much of any law he will enforce, but others know that it is a direct violation of his constitutional oath to “faithfully execute the same [meaning the laws].” It’s one thing to defer deportation, but quite illegal to grant actual legal status by handing out green cards.

Illegal Immigration: Like the war on ISIS, the Ebola outbreak, and now illegal immigration, the mainstream media has gone silent while these problems fester. What they aren’t telling you is that the flood of illegal immigration is still overwhelming US and state resources. Border patrol agents are discouraged because they are being assigned patrols that specifically avoid patrolling the areas of greatest infiltration. Immigration shelters are flooded with illegals still arriving in droves. The difference is now, they are turning themselves into authorities in order to qualify for Obama’s executive amnesty. Why stay illegal when you can turn yourself in and be rewarded?

Environmental Regulation: Climate changeis the new driving force for regulatory change. A year ago when the entire scientific basis for “global warming” collapsed due to fraudulent claims, the opposition thought they had finally won. Instead the establishment switched their propaganda term to “climate change” to allow for the current cooling trend while still harping about ice melt and beat the drums about carbon pollution–a complete and utter fraud

There is no support in Congress for a carbon tax, so the Obama administration is taking unilateral regulatory action to restrict burning coal, and using the false science of carbon pollution as the excuse to restrict every type of cheap energy the world needs. The Daily Caller complained that,

The Obama Administration, cramming like a college student trying to study for a final exam, publishing more than 1,200 new regulations in the last 15 days alone, according to data from Regulations.gov. Energy and environment rules are the biggest category, with 139 published by the federal government in the last 15 days, according to Regulations.gov.

One of the most contentious new regulations is the EPA’s coal ash rule. The rule has been criticized by the coal industry and environmental groups — though for entirely different reasons — and has a price tag of up to $20.3 billion. The rule was finalized last Friday.

Medical Control: We’ve lost a major battle for medical freedom with the passage of Obamacare, and our newly elected compromising Republican leadership in Congress will ensure that it never gets repealed. The battle for honest health care was actually lost many years ago when the government offered tax breaks for businesses to provide “free” health insurance for millions of workers. This system got people hooked on the medical establishment’s drug culture and caused the price to rise astronomically since users didn’t have to pay and had no incentive to even ask what it cost. Now hooked, people are paralyzed by the thought of being without insurance in the face of such outrageous medical costs.

Yes, Obamacare makes it worse—much worse—but there’s no solution even without Obamacare because people are mostly ignorant about natural remedies and good nutrition, and they are too fearful to test the waters outside the security net of government-backed healthcare. Now, like public schooling, we have to pay for it even if we object to it and don’t use it....

Police Aggressiveness and Brutality: This problem is a precursor to a Police state. It reached a head this year with the Ferguson riots, but sadly the issue was falsely framed as one of racial prejudice and profiling, rather than the danger to all of us from thuggish police behavior. There is a steady increase in the percentage of macho, pushy law enforcement personnel, many of which have a military background. They bring with them their foul-mouthed habits and thuggish behavior. Coupled with police training that talks incessantly about “getting killed if you don’t react fast enough” police are developing a shoot-first-and-ask-question-later mentality.

Just as bad is their attitude that “you need to do what I say, no questions asked.” This is not right. Police are not allowed by law to demand the public follow their every order. It has to be a lawful order. Sadly, neither the police chiefs nor the courts are willing to sanction police with strong penalties when they abuse this power, as I have pointed out in past briefings.

There are numerous video examples of police aggressively attacking bystanders who are filming them in the act of abusing a person under their control. The growing number of bad cops will do anything to justify beating a victim or arrest them for falsely “resisting arrest.” Some of their other favorite tactics are planting drugs, erasing phone videos with incriminating evidence, or planting a gun on someone shot without justification.

President Obama proposed spending $75 million to buy police body cameras as his solution to their overzealous shooting of victims. That will help except when police disable or erase the recording to coverup for illegal actions. But in the process, he used this free offer (via more deficit spending) to announce he was not suspending the program of providing “surplus” armored vehicles to police. In other, the militarization of police is to continue.

Incredibly, the establishment enlisted corrupt NY police commissioner Bernie Kerik to propagandizeagainst domestic threats and justify police support, no matter how aggressive. He brought out the old terror mantra of “war is being waged on our homeland.”

War is being waged in our homeland. Not a war of the enemies we have become accustomed to—ISIS, Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, radical extremists who hate everything we stand for and want to annihilate us. No, this war is of our own making. It is a war on law and order. It is a war on what keeps our communities safe. It is a war on cops who live to protect those they serve.

Nice try, but were not buying the “we’re only here to protect you” argument.

Militarization of Police. Instead of bringing in foreign troops to control American dissidents someday, the PTB have opted to militarize our own police, and hire macho cops who won’t have a fit of conscience about taking down American citizens that resist. That’s what the move by the Pentagon to hire mercenaries was all about. It was not about saving money, but vetting former military types and gathering thousands of aggressive and unprincipled trained killers that could someday be turned on the public when necessary. Many of these have gravitated to law enforcement once mercenary contracts have been shut down.

Providing free “surplus” military equipment is a fraud. The government purposefully produced thousands more of these MRAP vehicles than they needed in Iraq so that they could have an excuse to give them away latter. Most of these “surplus vehicles” are new, not used. These “gifts” come with strings attached. Police and sheriff departments are required to use them within a year and to train police in military tactics. Many do so willingly knowing that their police officers are anxious to have the extra prestige that comes with being SWAT trained.

These militarized SWAT teams are only taught one type of engagement—swift use of ruthless, maximum force. So whenever a SWAT team is sent into action, doors are busted in, stun grenades are launched and bullets fly even if there is no sign of resistance. Given the number of wrong addresses SWAT teams have been sent to, this is unconscionable and unnecessary. Forget about serving a warrant. When these deadly errors occur, they are usually covered up by police investigations. Even when the victim wins, the taxpayer is forced to pay the bill and the supervisor who sent them on the raid gone bad is still on the job.

Use of the Military: The PTB also know that when martial law comes, even the growing number of aggressive police won’t be enough. That’s why they plan and train military forces to attack urban areas in the US. This December there was a large upswing in military “urban rapid response” drills. They have involved armored vehicles and black helicopters in Dallas, Texas. Los Angeles even had USMC Osprey aircraft and Marine helicopters from Camp Pendleton swarm over the city. I doubt the troops are told what they are being prepared to do. The government keeps propagandizing troops about how they are “protecting everyone’s liberty.” But in reality they are being trained to take down Americans who resist the future New World Order, which our government is conspiring to force upon us.

Central Bank to the Rescue: In the economic realm, the establishment seems to have the entire financial community convinced that the FED is our savior, instead of the problem. In fact, the stock markets react more to FED pronouncements and policy than they do actual economic factors. The entire Western world is so far in debt and so corrupted with the benefits of fiat money that they can’t resist the arguments in favor of continued bailouts—even though they know it cannot and will not solve the long term problem. No one is willing to face the severe austerity that real solutions require. Here’s Bloombergwith the dominant theme:

It's too soon to know how the story of the Great Recession will end. When the history is written, though, one theme will be paramount: It was the world's central bankers, not its elected politicians, who had to deal with the crisis -- a task for which they weren't adequately equipped (and still aren't). Some rose to the challenge; others didn't.

Those that promptly took an expansive view of their powers [print more money] and responsibilities (the U.S. Federal Reserve and the Bank of England) got much better results than those that delayed too long (the Bank of Japan) or refuse even now to step up (the European Central Bank). The most effective central banks stretched the limits of their mandate. Governments should never have made that necessary.

In essence, Bloomberg is saying that central bankers are the victims of bad government policy of borrowing money and deficit spending, but they are now reluctant heroes stepping up with a courageous strategy of just creating as much money as necessary to “save us.”

In reality, governments and central bankers colluded to expand government powers and benefits without raising taxes. That’s the great allure of deficits —representatives can win votes, intervene around the world, support “the arts”, schools, agriculture, and still give billions in foreign aid all without letting the taxpayers feel any pain. Of course, eventually the interest on the debt gets so high as to absorb all tax revenues and then the jig is up. We’re not quite there yet, and the establishment is suppressing interests rates to zero in order to postpone the day of reckoning.

The austerity battles in Greece and elsewhere only drove worried onlookers more deeply into the conviction that austerity is unacceptable and that it’s better to keep the printing presses rolling. So forget about the dollar collapsing—the entire Western world is depending on and supporting it. All other currencies of any size are in worse shape. As I have long said, I think the PTB can keep things going until war comes.

Ultimately, it’s a brilliant strategy. The war gets the blame for the economic collapse and they can still claim the right to lead the country. Their solutions will point the entire world to a global government with radical “necessary powers” like martial law, economic controls, a new global currency, and the rounding up of “extremists” who believe in conspiracy and aren’t supporting this new “patriotic global cause.”

Two Minor successes that won’t last:

1) Conservative Protests about Agenda 21, the globalist land use control agenda, have been dramatically successful in embarrassing local and state planning commissions. But rather than repent, planners and officials have simply denied what they are doing is related to Agenda 21, or they have simply begun implementing it under another name. It hasn’t gone away so don’t let your guard down.

2) Tea Party conservatives have also been very successful in mounting vocal challenges against Common Core, the disastrous new national curriculum mandate that forces schools to teach for the test—a very bad way to educate. Most portions of the new curriculum are bad and education officials are on the defensive. Remember, however, that these are government schools—not yours—and they will continue to corrupt education. Frankly, I don’t believe in reforming or improving public schools. It only keeps good people sending their children into this cesspool of bad attitudes and controlled indoctrination. Public schools will always be vehicles of citizen control, just as they do now when mandating vaccines. Autocratic school psychologists and nurses are also a threat to parental custody if they refuse vaccines. -Same with hospitals.

TIMING: WHEN WILL THE CRISIS FINALLY COME?

The world has never experienced the kind of sophisticated deception and conspiracy we are witnessing today. So, while most of the world is in denial, relying upon the devious omissions and diversions of the media, those that listen to the alternative media are at risk of being led astray by excess hype and bad timing.

The internet is sown with an avalanche of disinformation and hype that only muddies the water about what is truly going on. All you have to do is listen to the barrage of disparate voices that comment at the bottom of any article on the internet, especially conservative sites, to see how bad people’s thinking is today—and I’m talking about conservatives and preppers, not the dumbed down public. It isn’t helped by the many pundits that have been predicting economic collapse, bank holidays and imminent martial law for at least the last four years—egged on by a handful of self proclaimed “insiders” who are actually disinformation experts plying the web.

The collapse hasn’t happened—not because the talk show hosts were insincere or because they misunderstand how bad things are, but rather because they failed to perceive the longer term agenda of the globalists aiming at a nuclear war.

I get emails everyday from subscribers worried about theincreasing speed and pace at which

government power and police brutality is increasing, as well as theincreasing aggression of Russia and China. To them, this must mean that war and crisis is coming sooner.

I admit that things are increasing in speed but what people don’t see is how much still has to be done by the forces of evil. Here are the key factors that must be met first.

1) Russia and China have to bring online their newest weapons systems that are on par with the West, and none are going to be fully operational until the beginning of the next decade: 2020-2025. That doesn’t mean war is coming during those dates, but it does mean it is unlikely that they will dare start the war before they are ready. There’s a lot of hype about hypersonic weapon systems, and they are being developed, but they are still a long way from being deployed in any numbers.

2) Neither side wants to be seen as starting the war, so even when prepared, there has to be a direct triggering event. As I’ve explained before, I think that trigger is North Korea. NK is the perfect trigger because it has been allowed to develop the appearance of being “unstable” and “uncontrolled,” which is only partially true. So, even when China gives NK the signal to strike South Korea, China can claim NK did it on its own. The bottom line is: the NK attack on the South is probably the most sure sign you’ll ever get that the nuclear war against the US is about a week away. Don’t miss that sign.

Everyone on the Right wing web, from Dave Hodges to Paul Craig Roberts keeps hyping US “provocations” in Europe, or the sanctions, or the deliberate collapse of the Ruble are going to trigger WWIII. Nonsense. The Ruble is now stabilizing with China’s intervention, and none of the small NATO military exercises are sufficient to spark a war, despite Putin’s complaints and dire threats. Nevertheless this week’s statement by Russia on the revision of its military doctrine adds fuel to the fire for those who want to believe that the US is provoking Russia to war and that it is very close:

According to the updated Russia's military doctrine, NATO military buildup, the development and deployment of strategic missile defense systems, the implementation of the 'global strike' doctrine are amongmain external threats to the country's security. (Pravda)

I may not be able to prove it, but time will tell this is mere posturing. Putin has to keep his military and people worked up about the US and NATO threat, but you’ll find that’s a long way from making the decision to actually go to war.

3) There are other timing factors outside our control. Foremost, is the level of moral corruption of the American people. Yes, it’s bad and accelerating, but the destruction that’s coming is sufficiently horrendous that God will have to sign off on the ultimate hour, and He has to be convinced that America is ripe enough in wickedness to merit the great tribulation that comes. I’m not smart enough to second guess how much evil is enough to cause the Lord to fully withdraw his blessings of protection on this nation. That it is someday coming, I am sure, but He is capable of delaying it if He wants. Remember Matthew 24 about the test of delayed coming.

SOLUTIONS: WHAT WORKS AND WHAT DOESN’T

Everyone demands a positive solution to our problems. America has never failed or been defeated so they can’t come to grips with the fact that eventually we’ll be out of options for success. First, what doesn’t work:

1) Restoring the Constitution. Even the liberals don’t object to the current constitution because they know that case law and corrupt judges can now interpret the constitution any way they wish. And when they can’t justify a change, they simply do it anyway knowing that the courts will look the other way. Sadly, there’s no way to get them to interpret the constitution as we would like—in the tradition of the Founders—because that’s never been codified even by conservatives. And if you were able to bind the government down by law, the benefit-corrupted majorities in this country would have the constitution amended within a month to allow what they are used to getting.

2) Voting the Rascals Out: Sadly, the PTB I have been describing control the media, both political parties, and the vote counting procedures at the state and national level. In 2012 they made over eight million votes for Mitt Romney disappear in order to defeat him.Term limits don’t work either. It’s ten times easier for the establishment to find replacements for liberal representatives than we can to replace the likes of Ron Paul. Even if Ron Paul had been elected president, he couldn’t have done much except hold the line against further expansion. Congress would not go along with ending the fed, or stopping foreign wars, and if the president tried to go after the conspiring globalists who control our country behind the scenes, the dark side of government inside each agency would simply refuse to cooperate.

In short, forget about getting the entire nation to reverse course. This conspiracy of power already controls all the levers of power. And with the continual flood of illegal immigration, both Latino and Muslim, the basic conservative, Christian culture and political views of America has now become the minority view, and we will get outvoted with raw democracy. The only exception will be 2016, when the PTB will allow Republicans to win again—but it won’t be a victory. It will just put in another globalist patsy like George W. Bush.

What might work:

1) Don’t give up on local politics. I’ve given up on most of the states, especially those deeply controlled by the democratic political machines: California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. But in red states, it’s still worth fighting to maintain conservative control of the legislatures, if only to provide partial safe havens someday when people have to flee to safer states during war. Virtually all republican controlled states have mainstream governors that bend to the will of the establishment, but we can slow down the corruption of conservative and constitutional values by keeping the level of resistance as high as possible in those states.

2) Elect constitutional sheriffs in as many counties as possible. Since the Supreme Court has ruled that the county sheriff is the highest law enforcement officer in the county, a properly educated and courageous constitutional sheriff can protect citizens from the intrusive orders of federal agents. Many states and local county commissions, however, are ready to intervene and remove such sheriffs if they prove “embarrassing” so it isn’t foolproof, but it’s our last legal bulwark against federal and state oppression.

In the long-term, we must educate conservatives about how to establish a workable constitutional government intighter legal language than the original document, which was wonderful in principle but short on restrictive language. My personal efforts to elucidate the principles of liberty and tighten up the language of the constitution are on my website here.

The big picture: We may just have the opportunity to have pockets of liberty established after this war because the disruption of the major urban areas will drive out good people trying to survive. Many will be guided by the Lord’s inspiration to find safe havens in rural areas in the Mid-West or West, and once again we may become a majority in select local areas. Let’s prepare to govern wisely in those areas by pre-agreeing among ourselves about how to structure a free society that effectively stops the slow erosion of socialism. Otherwise the surviving establishment attorneys and politicians will guide everyone back to the current system.

Naturally, you have to survive the war to be in a position to influence the remnant the Lord will preserve. ....
